Refund Policy

We want benchnext to be the right tool for your shop. If it is not, the rules below explain how refunds and cancellations work. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Founding membership ($20 one-time)
The founding-member fee is fully refundable, no questions asked, at any time before public launch of the Service. After public launch, the fee becomes non-refundable because it grants you twelve (12) months of included access plus a locked-in lifetime discount on the standard subscription.
To request a refund of your founding-member fee, email evrim.olcum@kodado.co from the address you used at checkout. We will process the refund within five (5) business days through the original payment method.
2. Standard monthly subscription ($19/mo)
You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time from inside your account or by emailing us. When you cancel:
- The current billing period remains active until its end — you keep access to the Service until then.
- You will not be charged again on renewal.
- We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months that you have already paid for.
3. Discretionary refunds
If you experience a serious technical issue that prevents you from using the Service, or if you were charged in error, contact us within thirty (30) days of the charge and we will work with you in good faith — typically a full or partial refund, or a service credit. We review these requests on a case-by-case basis.
4. Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, please email us so we can resolve the issue directly. Chargebacks initiated without contacting us first may delay your refund and result in suspension of your account while we investigate.
5. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence — for example, the 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases under EU consumer protection law, where applicable.
6. How to request a refund
Email evrim.olcum@kodado.co with:
- The email address used at checkout.
- The order or subscription identifier from your purchase receipt.
- A short note about the reason — optional, but helpful.
Refunds are issued through the original payment method via our third-party payment processor. Depending on your bank, the refund may take an additional five to ten business days to appear on your statement.
